Q3. What have i learnt from my audience feedback?

Above is a word cloud, showing the feedback i received, i have learnt alot through receiving feedback, it helped me develop my products and see improvements through the audiences eyes. Firstly I received feedback when giving my pitch, my peers gave me feedback on my idea, and having received it I changed  the genre characteristic from narrative to performance based, this was a major change and has been rewarding with my final product clearly matching my genre as shown in this word cloud. The feedback i received was from peers before, but this feedback cloud consists of information from my target audience. I  gained both positive and negative comments.

Negative comments:

  • lip syncing out of time
  • video quality bad
  • no reference to intertextuality
  • could have more variation of shots
  • incorporate more genre characteristic
  • better props and locations
If i did this project again, i would insure i spent more time working on producing the products, and spend more time researching my genre to fully incorporate all the characteristic that resemble Rap. I would also spend more time editing the video to get the lip syncing perfect and in time. the camera i used was a still camera with an added feature to video, this is why the video quality was bad as a result my music video suffered, therefore i would change the camera i use in future projects as i am a rap artist after all.
